- The 109th edition of the Salon du Bon Vouloir took place at Salle Saint-Georges. To adapt to the space, the artists will present miniature works.
- We want Jazz
- The trumpet is undoubtedly one of the most popular instruments! Although used in almost all styles of music, it is without question jazz that, thanks to its illustrious ambassadors such as Louis Armstrong, Dizzy Gillespie and Miles Davis, will take it up to the Pantheon of music.
- 1st Triennial of Photography
- Following a competition, 20 winners were selected to exhibit, at Salle Saint-Georges, their vision of "Mons, a city to live in today, a city to dream up for tomorrow".
- Mons – 6 museums under construction. Where art and history will live.
- Through plans, sketches, models and photos, this exhibition will present the new settings destined to display the wealth and variety of the city's collections.
- A tribute to "Festivals and the Ducasses"
- Montois Cayaux runs its customary annual exhibition at Salle Saint-Georges. The theme for this year is "Festivals and the Ducasses in Mons".
- Man and his Shadow
- This exhibition, co-produced with the non-profit organisation Afrique au Cœur (whose name means "Africa in my Heart") and run with the support of the French Community of Belgium, pulls us in to discover the shadows... On this occasion, a series of work produced by children from a primary school in Goubré, a village in the Sahel, will be presented (from 15 October).
- Multiplicity and Multiple cities: Mireille Lienard - Bob Verschueren
- Works by two artists, Mireille Liénard and Bob Verschueren, at Salle Saint-Georges and in the space at the Jardin du Mayeur ("Mayor's Garden") will awaken and increase public awareness, appealing to all ages, about the social ethics which are inseparable from the term "culture".
- City Sonic
- At Salle Saint-Georges, the City Sonic festival will give carte blanche to the FRESNOY contemporary art studio, as well as hosting the Livescape collective, which will present a multimedia and sound project.
- Domestic treasures
- The exhibition "Trésors domestiques" provided the opportunity to present a selection of some of the most beautiful ornaments produced by manufacturers within our region, complemented by a number of exceptional pieces produced by the Doyen d’ Havré glassworks, which is now closed. The passion of collectors has saved our domestic treasures from fading from memory.
- Design on models
- As part of the series of exhibitions at Salle St Georges on the theme of "Culture and Society", an original exhibition of paper clothes will open in late summer 2009. The first section will present a collection (never before shown) of patterns for paper clothes found on markets in Kenya, among the slums.
- Tell me Mons
- To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Dynamusée, the educational department of the museums of Mons, the team wanted to pay tribute to their beloved city. Through collages, photos, paintings, sculptures and fun activities, set off on a journey to discover Mons heritage.
